His background includes eight years as a structural designer and eventual partner of a structural engineering consulting firm, and eleven years as a county engineer. Ken is the key engineer for forensic structural engineering due to his unique aptitude and background in rehabilitation and bridge inspection. He is also qualified as a Program Manager to inspect bridges as part of the NHI Standards of the Code of Federal Regulations.

Ken was raised on a small family farm near Hillsboro.  There he took interest in tractors, equipment, and all things mechanical more so than the farming aspects.  He is a confirmed car nut and spends time in the garage modifying and maintaining various vehicles.  His current project is a Factory Five GTM.  On the weekends you may find him on local road courses piloting the kit car he built around the race track.  He and Toni have been married 34 years and have two children, Christine and Josh.
